Are Tend care workers independent contractors or employees?

Direct Care staff and Case Managers are all employees of Tend. Home care package recipients may at times wish to receive services not delivered by Tend. In these situations fully contracted brokerage arrangements would be in place to safe guard all parties. Tend also supports choice of contractors which is covered using our self management model.
